In Croatia, there are beautiful stairstep waterfalls that you may have seen in calendars. This spring, we visited Krka National Park when the water level was exceptionally high. You can get close to the main waterfall to see and feel its force.
Standing next to Skradin, the largest waterfall, we intuitively asked it what it would like to share from its place of wisdom. Here’s what the waterfall had to say:
“Tolerate yourself. Feel sure of who you are. Live your life to the fullest appreciating yourself.
You are water. You are meant to be in movement. You are not meant to be stiff or controlled. When you are true to yourself, you are in flow. When you forget who you are, you become less in motion and that is when stagnation or illness occurs.
If you happen to become ill, do not take illness seriously or it will overcome you. In other words, when you take illness as a truth you become it. Instead, see it as a passing trend in your life because you have forgotten who you are. Remember who you are, which is a creator in flow with life from Source. See that as your truth and health becomes you.
When you are whole, there is no lacking. There is no dislike or resentment in your system for yourself or others. You are simply who you are appreciating yourself and all that is around you.
May we suggest you remember you are god, creator in your realm. You can choose your focus. If your focus is wholeness, you create that.”
Anne and I enjoyed connecting with the waterfall. It reminded us to be flexible and in motion with our thoughts, emotions and physical bodies. If we can keep this as our focus, we will be fine.
Meditation: Would you like to be in flow with the water? If so, take a moment to close your eyes and imagine you are standing next to the waterfall. Feel its power and flow. Feel that flow passing through you now. Feel yourself as water. Once you sense a shift toward flexibility and flow within you, let that shift soak in. Let the shift flow throughout your day and your week. Remember, you are water!
