Who Is Stanley Krippner?
Recently, Greg and I had lunch in San Francisco with Stanley Krippner, PhD. For those of you who might not know who he is, let me share with you some of his accomplishments as well as the many ways in which he has impacted my life.
Stan has been on the leading edge of research around hypnosis, psychic development, dreams, shamanism, personal mythology, consciousness and healing since the 1960’s. In the 1990’s, I did my doctoral research with him at Saybrook University on accessing intuition through self-hypnosis. Then in 1997 Stan lead a Psychic Arts Delegation to Russia. I was fortunate enough to be a part of that Citizen Ambassador Program and appreciated the thought provoking exchanges we had with our fellow psychics in Russia.
Even though in 2008 Stan wrote the Introduction to my book,Eureka, Understanding and Using the Power of Your Intuition, this lunch was actually the first time we had seen each other in person in 14 years. It was wonderful to catch-up and see how much he continues to accomplish with his research. You can see the staggering number of books he has published on Amazon.
Stan’s most recent book might be of interest to many of you:Demystifying Shamans and their World: A Multidisciplinary Study. In our Transpersonal Hypnotherapy course (for the Certified Hypnotherapist designation), when you take clients on a journey to find guidance and resources, you are walking the path of shamans. As you know, journeying inward to find answers can easily change your clients’ lives, health, relationships and work.
What Are Your Questions About Intuition?
So, over lunch, we talked more about consciousness and the wealth of information that can be obtained through intuition. As you may have noticed, your inner wisdom is more readily available to you now, just as outer information is more easily available through the internet.
I mentioned to Stan that I was beginning to write another book on intuition. This time, rather than coming from a research perspective, I am channeling higher wisdom using an approach similar to the one taken by Neal Donald Walsh in his book series,Conversations With God.In those books he asks God a question about some aspect of life and then channeled the answer using “automatic writing.” There are many ways to access higher wisdom, and this method is a good one. I have practiced automatic writing, as well as talked with “All That Is” in my head, since I was young. Now, Greg asks me questions and we record the answers.
Having Conversations with “All That Is” has given me perspective and helped me navigate through difficult times. Without this communication, this world would have made little sense to me. With it, I have grown, learned and evolved. I am so grateful for this continuous support and enlightenment.
Now, if you are interested, I would like to share this wisdom with you. We all have access to greater information if we clear our heads of the mundane chatter and truly listen. Maybe you have experienced such episodes when meditating or taking a long hike. Experiment with asking your higher-self a question, become quiet and listen for the answer. You might bring through some amazing information.
Having brought up this project to Stan, he was, of course, excited and wanted to contribute his own questions about intuition:
- How do you know you can trust your intuition?
- Is there a time of day when you are more receptive, such as in the morning or at a particular time of month?
- Is there any preparation that can help to make your intuition stronger? Or, is no preparation needed at all? What type of preparation would that be?
- How much intuition comes from your own unconscious? How much comes from an outside source?
- Is there a type of task for which intuition is best suited, such as talking with spirit guides or loved ones, delving into the akashic records or communing with God?
These questions were answered in Eureka! Understanding and Using the Power of Your Intuition. Now Stan is interested in hearing more information from a channeled perspective.
Please Email Your Questions!
The only way we can receive fulfilling answers is to ask the right questions. So, please email us your questions on intuition so that we can all understand intuition more fully from this higher perspective of “All That Is.”
