To function well, we all need lots of water. A book that convinced me to drink more water is Your Body’s Many Cries For Water by F. Batmanghelidj, MD. He shared how drinking large amounts of water can resolve debilitating health issues.
One story he shared was of a man who had severe pain from acid indigestion. All the antacid medications he had been prescribed had not helped. Acid was bubbling up into his esophagus. Because he was extremely dehydrated, he was instructed to drink a quart of water an hour. By replenishing his water reserves, the pain went away and he was able to function again.
Water acts as a lubricant in your joints as well. Our joints wear out when we lack water.
You can bring water into your system not only through drinking it but also through absorbing it through your skin. You do this through taking a bath, swimming in the ocean or a lake or sitting in a hot springs.
Anne has found that meditating in water helps her connect to the source of all creation. It is like the water within her relates to the water outside of her and she instantly connects with her intuition.
Romans built spas around springs 2000 years ago to tap the healing properties of mineral water. Anne located a medical spa at a thermal pool in Solec-Zdrój, Poland, which was reported to have these properties. We went there to see what the Romans experienced long ago. Here is what we intuitively learned:
Mineral water assists you in healing. When you soak in it, you absorb it and it moves through you with its natural intention to bring forward goodness for itself. It is very much alive. This liquid movement is a positive experience for your cells. The life force energy in natural water encourages an increase in the vibration of your system. You heal yourself through choosing to match this livelier vibration of the mineral water.
When your cells are dehydrated and not occupied with the life force energy of water, your body can feel hopeless. Your cells can feel little and sluggish rather than plump and vibrant. They do not believe they can do much to improve their situation. They have little movement. This shrinking of your life force energy from dehydration can bring about disease.
So, when the cells in your body notice that the mineral water is now moving through your system with lots of life force energy and positive intention, your body’s cells see and start to remember what it’s like to be alive and happy. They make the decision to mimic the happy mineral water by plumping themselves up and moving around. This is you healing yourself.
Exercise: To create a healing water experience at home, do this simple practice:
- Cup your hands around a glass of water before you drink it. Bless it.
- Cup your hands around the faucet to your tap water. Bless it.
- Bless the water before you step into your bath.
- Say to yourself, “All water that enters my home and my body remembers what it is like to be alive.”
- I give thanks for being alive!
