In this series we talk with pets, whose names have been changed, to see what they have to say. Here is an interesting pet psychic reading that we gave.

Question: I just moved into a new place. How does my dog like it?

Anne & Greg: Your dog, Natalie, says it smells. It smells of chemicals. She is not used to that smell. It doesn’t bother her much, but it is different. That is why she is sniffing around. That is the image she is showing us – sniffing around. Otherwise she says the place is fine.

Owner’s Comment: I know our new place was not recently painted, but it was cleaned before we moved in. I only use natural cleaners, not strong chemicals, so that might be different for her.

Question: Why does my dog sleep so much now? I’m worried. Is it the chemicals?

Anne & Greg: It is not the chemicals. Natalie has been giving you her energy and she is tired. She says you care for others too much and that is draining you. She is concerned and has been trying to help. As you over-give to others, your dog is over-giving to you by sending you her energy. This exhausts her. She sleeps in order to recuperate and balance herself again.

If you want to help Natalie, then help yourself first. She wants you to feel strong emotionally and then you will be strong physically. She is doing all she knows how to do right now. You could say she is showing you what you are doing with others by mirroring it in her actions with you. She is giving you her energy, and this is to her own detriment.

Natalie is saying, “Love yourself more.” This is a heartwarming message.

The image she is showing us is that the two of you have been sharing a bubble of energy. As you give away your energy to others, Natalie is offering you her energy as food. This is sucking her dry. All the sleep in the world will not help her if this keeps up. As you look at her you can see how this action can also be harmful to you.

To be healthy, you need to contain your energy within your energy system, rather than siphon it off to others. Then there will be no need for your dog to save you by siphoning off her energy to you. This will help you both be strong.

You could say that Natalie sent you a strong message. She wants you to be healthy and that is all she has known how to do.

Now you can make an agreement with her that you will keep your energy for yourself. You can thank her for the message and let her know you are going to do things differently now.

Natalie says you can see how you are doing by noticing how she will be sleeping less very soon. But we let Nadia know that it will also be up to her to take care of herself, no matter what you are doing. So both of you are learning how to take care of yourselves, individually. That is a wonderful partnership in personal growth!

Anne & Greg’s Summary: Your pet can be physically affected by the way you live in this world. If you give your energy away to others, then your pets could, in turn, give their energy to you to try to make up for the imbalance. Ultimately, your pets could become tired and eventually drained to the extent that they could become sick. It is important to be aware that your actions and your life style could, and usually does, affect your pets.
