In this series we investigate orbs, those spheres of light that can appear in your photographs.

When we began our flight from America to England in the summer of 2008, Greg leaned over me and started snapping photos out of the window. He usually does this to document our trips. This time, however, the experience was different. Low and behold we were being joined by a fellow traveler who was hovering outside near the airplane’s wing – it was an orb. It was literally traveling with us. This was quite unusual. We took this to be a good omen for the trip.

The day after our plane landed in London we went to Glastonbury to walk the land and investigate the earth energy there. In our tired state we ended the day by wandering into a gift shop only to look up to recognize a veteran orbs investigator in front of us. He had been a presenter at the orbs conference in Palm Springs that spring, and now he was giving a talk here, near Stonehenge.

Greg was alert enough to share with him our photo from the plane’s window. He assured us that we weren’t just jet lagged and seeing things due to a lack of sleep. It was, indeed, a significant orb with a wispy energy trail behind it. This confirmation was affirming since we had only started paying attention to orbs after attending the orbs conference a couple of months earlier. This was an exciting discovery since it gave us another focus for our trip.

The orb had telepathically communicated with us and wished us well on our journey. We had wished it the same. It, too, was traveling and was focused on places to go! You can notice its intensity and single sightedness.

After further field research on our part, we feel that this is a type of thought form orb rather than an orb of pure being. This orb seems to have a distinct personality, rather than the feel of a bee from the hive of pure life. It seems that pure orbs have a more general purpose for being rather than a personal one. They are lighter, perkier, constantly curious rather than a bit cloudy and somewhat dull in vibration as a thought form orb would be. (See Part 1 in this series on orbs for further definitions.)

Have Your Own Orb Experience!

The next time you are traveling by plane, you might request a window seat. As you look out the window you can appreciate the beauty of the sky, the clouds, the sun. Then, with that joy in your heart, start taking some photos out the window. Appreciate whatever you find in your photographs. Enlarge them and appreciate them even more.

If orbs don’t happen to be showing up right then, sit back in your seat, think of something fun, and take a few more photos. Appreciate your photos later. If you see orbs, great. If not, how wonderful it is to enjoy the beauty of your trip!
